Our Doctors
Dr. Kevin Miller was born in Missouri and was raised in Utah and California. He attended Brigham Young University, and graduated from the University of Utah Medical School in Salt Lake City in 1983. His postgraduate training included a residency in ophthalmology at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas, followed by fellowship training in glaucoma at Duke University. Dr. Miller has been in Las Vegas since 1988. As a glaucoma specialist, most of his patients have glaucoma or are at risk for the isease. Dr. Miller and his wife Michelle enjoy raising their five sons. Outside of the office, Dr. Miller enjoys family time, tennis, and photography.
Dr. Emily Fant was born and raised outside of Cleveland, Ohio. She attended Wellesley College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, where she earned freshman honors and was elected to the Sigma Xi Honors Research Society. She attended the Boston University School of Medicine and completed her ophthalmology training at Tufts University in Boston. There she was awarded the Charles Preefer Prize for Outstanding Research and was also given the honor of being selected as the chief resident in her last year of training. Dr. Fant was board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1987 and then practiced in the Boston area where she also served as a teaching clinician for ophthalmologists in training at Tufts and Harvard Medical Schools. Dr. Fant moved to Las Vegas in 1988, where she now resides with her husband, two daughters, son and two dogs. Her outside interests include cooking, traveling, music, tennis and skiing.
Dr. Grace Shin was born in Ontario, Canada, and was raised in Michigan and Louisiana .After obtaining her undergraduate degree from Wellesley College in Massachusetts, she went on to receive her M.D. degree at the Tulane University School of Medicine and her M.P.H. degree at the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in Louisiana. She served her internal medicine internship at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Shin's residency in general ophthalmology took place at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at the University of California , Los Angeles (UCLA). She then completed a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus also at UCLA. Dr. Shin is a diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is an active member of the Clark County Medical Society, Nevada State Medical Association, American Academy of Ophthalmology, and American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. She is married to Gregory M. Kwok, M.D. a gastroenterologist, and they have three sons.
Dr. Tushina Reddy received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Michigan Medical School, Inteflex Program, which combined both undergraduate and medical school training. She then completed two-year of residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan Hospital followed by a residency in ophthalmology at the University Hospital of Cleveland-Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Reddy is the primary clinical investigator for numerous ongoing research trials, keeping our office on the cutting edge of new treatments in the field of ophthalmology. She specializes in cataract and refractive surgery, and is accepting new patients. Dr. Reddy is diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology (Board Certified), a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and the Clark County Medical Society. She is married to Ravi Reddy, M.D., an ophthalmologist and they have three sons.
Dr. Adam Rovit was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University. He served his medical internship at The Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Dr. Rovit's residency in ophthalmology took place at University of Virginia Hospital Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Prior to relocating to Las Vegas Dr. Rovit was employed by University Hospitals of Cleveland. Dr. Rovit is a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology (Board Certified). He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. Dr. Rovit enjoys hiking, climbing, skiing and golf.
Dr. Adam Schwartz completed his internship at the world-renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Hospital in Miami, Florida. He received his Doctor of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry, followed by residency at the Eye Institute in Philadelphia. Dr. Schwartz consults for several contact lens manufacturers, which includes national and international lecturing. He has a special interest in medically necessary contact lenses, bifocal contacts, and cosmetic/prosthetic contact lenses. Dr. Schwartz is Board Certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease and glaucoma. He is currently accepting new patients, of all ages, for primary eye care. He moved to Las Vegas in 2000, and is an avid golfer.
